About Us

Eissa M. Villaseñor is an attorney who has spent nearly two decades in the field of immigration and refugee law.  She brings a comprehensive perspective to immigration law, having represented clients before DOL, EOIR and USCIS, as well worked for USCIS, the primary agency within the U.S. Government that administers immigration to the United States. She is known for her clear and honest approach as well as her ability to guide individuals through the complexities of the U.S. immigration system with commitment and confidence.

 

Eissa is admitted to the State Bar of California and the District of Columbia Bar. She earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, with a concentration in human rights law, and holds a dual bachelor’s degree in politics and Spanish from Mount Holyoke College.

 

She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and several regional bar associations and previously served in leadership roles with the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia.

 

She has a long history of volunteer work both domestically and overseas, as well as pro bono work.  She is a native of Los Angeles, CA, has worked in 14 countries and most recently made La Quinta, CA her home.  During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, doing yoga, cooking, and gardening.
